If you've decided to refine your kitchen, you probably are pretty upset to find new hardware, what's on the cupboard's face, and so on. One of the things you should know though is the size of the drill used in the cabinet buttons. The last thing they want to do with these new wardrobe doors is to hurt them. You only have to do some tricks to work without risking ending your cabinet.
First, a short primer lies on the handlebar handle. Basically there are two types, buttons and handle. Various methods can be fixed
Many handles have two small screw holes in the outer flange. These are the simplest to install.
Fix the screwdriver mounts and buttons with a screw on the back of the cabinet and then fit them into the hardware. You must be very careful when drilling holes.
The first step in each task is a preparatory work. You will need a pair of different size drills, so raising a drill index is a good idea. You will not need a full-index index that you can do everything you have with a selection bit of between ¼ and 1/2 inches.
Make sure the bits are sharp. The last thing you want is risking the shell hanging over the cabinet surface or crushing wood
For screw-type handle, installation is very simple. Just mark where the screws are holding. Tap the experiment opening to lower the third part of the cabinet and lower the screws.
Handles bolts take more time and prepares the job
One wrench in the next step in the complexity. This should be measured from the edge of the button to the center of the screw hole. This will be the drilling correction.
Place a ribbon on the face of the cabinet where the button is touched. Now look up the edge of the button. Remove the off measurement to mark the center of the bolt hole.
Use the ¼ drill bit in a pilot hole. Be sure to drill forward, backward, I know the counter is intuitive, but if there is something to be crushed, it will be inside the cabinet.
Now lift the size of the drill bit until it reaches the size large enough to lower the screw through the door
Remove the ribbon, replace the screw and tighten the knob
The most complex pulling the door with two screws. The statutes are the same.
Tape should be applied
Measure the offset
Find the handle.
Mark the ribbon
Drill the pilot hole and step up until it reaches the screw size
The only difference is when tightening the screw from the back of the cabinet So what size the use of a drilling tool for the cabinet buttons is a bit incorrect. You will need a few different sizes to achieve an elegant look.
