I bought the Panasonic NV-GS11 camcorder from eBay and costs, it seemed perfect. I liked the camera's sense of simple use until I tried to transfer the movie to a PC and it started when the bug started.
Normally, when you connect the camera to a USB connection, the computer recognizes the device and can use it immediately. The problem was not over when I did the PC and I thought the driver was wrong.
The answer is that there are 2 items in the menu, USB, "webcam" and "DV Studio" – software for recording photos on the camera. Select "webcam", connect the camera to your computer via the USB connector, and turn on the camera by using the Playback mode. Check "My Computer," and a video camera icon appears next to it. Double click on this icon to open a page where, when you start the movie from the camera, you can see the results on the computer screen. Unfortunately, there is no page where you can save the movie.
I was looking for Google and found the answer. Many people took the same problem but did not seem to have any answer. Finally, I found a solution on the forum about the solution page.
Download Windows Movie Maker from Microsoft. This is for Windows XP: –
Movie Maker opens and you will see "Video capture from video device" This will allow you to save your movie to the desired directory and later write it to your CD using your favorite software.
I hope this helps you with the same problem as it was. If you need more help, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
