So you're in the game and trying to turn that worn computer into a gaming center? You do not have to be an unnecessarily expensive gaming machine, you just need a decent gaming hardware.
If you do not know exactly what toy hardware, I've set up a guide that explains what it takes to be a gaming machine. You do not need these components, so I've broken them from an important point of view.
3D Video Card
First, if you have a decent video card to play the latest 3D games. You can have the best computer, but if there is a cheap video card, 3D games are running slowly as if it were a slow computer. You do not necessarily need the latest video card because as far as they come out, it may be outdated within a few months, unless there are $ 500 in the hole and you really want it.
As the CPU is the center of the computer, this is obvious. Like most things, there is no need for the fastest CPU, but if you want a real gaming machine, you want 3GB or 3GB or 3000+ for AMD fans.
You want something that has a fast front-side bus. Generally, it is best to find a system board and CPU that has a similar front bus speed because they work together and the full speed of the front bus will only be at the slowest speed. This is not just the amount that matters, they also come at different times. DDR2 is the fastest, cheapest memory you can now get. If you have SDRam, you probably want to upgrade your motherboard and CPU to have a faster memory. This is drastic, but your games are likely to be slow if your equipment is so old. Regular DDR is good enough for playing, it simply does not have DDR2 performance.
Today's fastest motherboards are faster on the Front Side bus. The Front Side Bus (or FSB) is basically the CPU from the CPU to the RAM, the bigger the freeway, the more traffic you can handle simultaneously, the faster you make your calculations. Another thing to take care of is what kind of hard drives it supports. If you want SATA or SCSI drives, your motherboard should support them, or purchase an expansion card to connect them. You also want a motherboard that supports the fastest computer memory that is currently DDR2.
Hard Disk Drive
Hard disk drive speed does not seem to be important, but this can be one of the many bottlenecks in which the computer is turned on if the rest of your computer does not match. If you buy regular IDE hard drives at least 7200 rpm (rotation per minute, the more rotations, the faster the drive).
If you want true speed, you want a Serial ATA Hard Drive (SATA), one of the fastest hard drives you can get without having to buy server-grade hard drives (SCSIs) that are pretty expensive. However, the motherboard must support SATA or SCSI if you want to buy such hard drives or connect a PCI expansion card.
If you want to play sound quality, you must replace the file or built-in sound card with a decent game sound card. And if you want full effect, go to the Dolby 5.1 surround sound sound card for super-sharp sound. Mix this with the 5.1 speakers and your gaming experience has only turned upside down. Computer cases
Ok, so computer cases are not so important to speed, but if you want the new gaming machine to be fine, you'll need a nice color case. Your friends will be jealous and finally you can check your computer and smile because it looks so fantastic.
