The wooden fence, which has been held regularly over the past 20 years. But this life expectancy could be significantly increased if using high quality wood. Below are the most popular tree species that we know are of better quality than others, including their features to help you decide what to use for a fence project.
first Western Red Cedar
Like most species in this article, western red cedar is resistant to many diseases that average pines are likely to yield. Its marvelous appearance is appreciated by many people and its natural ability to withstand insect infestation, rot and moisture, an excellent choice for picking up wings and fence posts. This is one of the best materials in the fence, but this is not recommended for fence posts.
2nd White oak
White oak is a hard, solid wood. It's good and robust, even if there are natural elements. Many people who choose this tree because of the strength of the knights; and avoid pine because some horses chew the fir (which is a cheap tree species). But white oak tends to bend or chain, so you have to consider this fact when planning your fence.
3rd Tropical hardwood
South America produces one of the most beautiful and strongest fences, gates and decks. Woods, like Tigerwood, Ipe and Brazilian cherries are very hard, hard and dense. In fact, they need pre-drilling because the hammer and the nail are just inside the tree. Of course, these varieties are more expensive than other species.
4th Pressure-treated pine
Pressured pine can withstand moisture, rot and spinning, not from Mother Nature but from physical processes and man-made chemical treatments. This location is recognized as the best material for outdoor applications. But later lost popularity with the many traditionally durable and solid choices. The pressed pine is a bit more expensive and resistant to insect infestation and rot than the pine that is not treated. However, the chemical used for the use of hard materials (and energy used in the pressure processing process) has raised the attention of some environmental-focused entrepreneurs and homeowners. But the practicality of this material should not be ignored by every fencing or homeowner.
